History

• Breast cancer state: breast cancer is the most common form of cancer in women.
• Minot State University held their first basektball breast cancer awareness event in February 2008. They raised about $200.
• The next event will be on January 15th 2009 during the men's and women's basketball game vs. Jamestown. The game starts at 5pm.
• The athletic department is hosting the event in conjunction with the Student Activities Committee.
• The event will raise awareness on campus and provide opportunity to celebrate those who have won the battle against breast cancer.
• The funds raised will go towards breast cancer research.
